PHATSY KLINE’S PARLOR LOUNGE

Tucked inside the Historic Eagle House, Phatsy Kline's is Old Town Eureka's favorite cozy cocktail bar — blue velvet booths, craft cocktails, local wines, Humboldt County beers and ciders, and tapas-style small plates made entirely in-house. The kind of place you stumble into for one drink and never want to leave.

Creative, soulful cooking that takes familiar comfort food somewhere unexpected. A FEW TIPS FROM OUR TEAM

The North Coast dining scene is intimate and seasonal — many of our favorite spots are small, independently owned, and fill up quickly on weekends. We always recommend calling ahead for dinner reservations, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. If you're visiting in summer, Trinidad and the coastal spots are particularly worth planning around — the scenery alone is worth the drive.

No matter where the evening takes you, we always suggest starting it right downstairs at Phatsy Kline's. A craft cocktail and shared small plates in those blue velvet booths is the perfect way to ease into the night — and on the evenings we have live music, you may find it hard to leave. Phatsy's is open Wednesday through Saturday, so if you're staying on one of those nights, consider it your pre-dinner ritual.

Not sure where to go? Our front desk team knows this community inside and out and is always happy to point you toward exactly the right spot for your evening — whether that's a quiet romantic dinner, a lively night out, or the best bowl of ramen in Humboldt County. Just ask.
